Woman Immolates Self After Spouse Abandons Pet Dog
Today i happened to read a news which i really don't know how some one should feel or react for this news. Only thing can say is a stupid decision.

A young woman on 06 July 2016 allegedly set herself ablaze upset over her husband abandoning her pet cannine and its newborn puppy in a desolate area, police said. Shanthi suffered about 85 per cent burns and is battling for life at a local hospital here in Namakkal District, they said. Deeply attached to her pet dog, she could not bear the trauma of being separated from it.
Most of the pet lovers are so attached to their pet. But it does't mean that you have to die with your pet. and in this case the dog has not died, just her husband abandoned. If she really need the dog then she could have went and found the dog rather immolating her self. In my personal opinion what she has done was utter foolishness.
This self immolation is not new. It has centuries-long traditions in some cultures especially in India. Earlier self immolation is considered to be among the most powerful symbolic acts of Sacrifice. Death by fire is long and extremely painful, making it a powerful statement, a way of stating one's absolute dedication to a position or belief, such that it warrants literal self-sacrifice.
